新型混合型限流断路器在直流电力系统中的限流特性研究

摘要:
针对直流电力系统高d i/d t短路电流难以分断的问题,开展了基于高速斥力开关的混合型限流断路器在直流电力系统中的应用研究。对限流断路器的工作原理、参数设计以及高速斥力开关的动作特性进行了分析,采用EMTP仿真分析了限流断路器在不同短路电流上升率下的限流特性。仿真结果表明限流断路器可将预期100 kA、时间常数5 ms的直流短路电流限制到16 kA以内,限流分断时间小于2 ms;限流分断时间随着电流上升率的增加而减小,当d i/d t向20 A/μs趋近时,分断时间趋近于1 ms。通过三相整流发电机直流系统预期30 kA、时间常数3 ms短路限流试验,验证了仿真结果以及限流断路器在直流系统中限流的快速有效性。

Research of current limiting characteristics for hybrid current limiting circuit breaker in DC power system

Abstract:
As it is difficult to interrupt the high di/dt fault current in DC power system,a scheme of DC hybrid current limiting circuit breaker based on high speed electro-magnetic repulsion switch is presented. The working principle and parameter design of current limiting circuit breaker and the performance of high speed electro-magnetic repulsion switch are analyzed. The current limiting characteristics are analyzed by EMTP simulation for different di/dt,which show that,the DC prospective fault current of 100 kA/5 ms is limited below 16 kA in less than 2 ms;the interrupting time decreases with the di/dt increases and the interrupting time approaches 1 ms when the di/dt increases near 20 A/μs. The test of short-circuit interrupting with the prospective fault current of 30 kA/3 ms for generator-rectifier system validates the simulative results and the effective function of the current limiting circuit breaker.
