MPLS的第3层框架-IP

摘要:
介绍利用重叠模型实现的MPLS第3层协议IP。IP在MPLS中的确立归因于后者的第2层ATM协议的局限性和传统IP技术在现有网络上的重大影响。在MPLS的实现中,一些IP特性是值得研究的,包括源树与共享树、数据流合计、数据流的扩散和删减、单向共享树和双向共享树等。它们影响了IP和MPLS的发展方向。另外,触发标记交换路径建立的方式、生存期、标记的保留方式和IP VPN隧道等议题是使IP适应MPLS的需要所必须的。通过全面概述以上关于IP协议的议题,并结合作为MPLS第3层协议的IP协议特性,使读者对MPLS的工作细节得到了大致的了解。

Abstract:
IP, the 3 rd level protocol for the realization of MPLS using overlay model is introduced. The adoption of IP lies on the constraints of the 2 nd level ATM protocol and the significance of IP in the firmly established current network. Study of some IP characteristics is worthwhile in modeling MPLS, including source tree and share tree, data stream merging, pruning and flooding, unidirectional and bidirectional share tree, and so on. They influence the development direction of IP and MPLS. Other topics are necessary for the attempt to adapt IP to MPLS, such as the establishment of label switching route, time to live, label reservation mode, and IP VPN channel. Through the complete description of IP topics above mentioned and combined with the characteristics of IP protocol as the 3 rd level protocol for MPLS, the work detail of MPLS can be roughly understood.
