USB技术概况

摘要:
作为计算机外设接口技术的重要变革,USB在传统的计算机组织结构的基础上,引入网络的拓扑结构思想。其具有终端用户的易用性、广泛的应用性、带宽的动态分配、优越的容错性能,较高的性能价格比等特点,方便了外设的增添,适应了现代计算机多煤体的功能拓展,已逐步成为计算机的主流接口,在扼要介绍USB的研制动机、技术目标和功能特色之后,系统地、概括性地对USB的体系结构进行了描述,主要包括USB的系统概况、物理接口、电源特性、总线协议、容错性能、系统设置、数据流模型、主机、硬件和软件等内容。上述的具体技术细节将在后续文章中介绍。

Abstract:
As an important innovation of peripheral interface technology,USB introduces the network topology concept into traditional computer structure.With its facility for terminal user,wide applicability,dynamic bandwidth distribution,excellent error tolerance and higher cost performance ratio,USB simplifies the attachment of peripherals,meets the requirement of multimedia function expansion,and gradually becomes the main computer interface.After a brief introduction of the development motivation,technical targets and functional features,the hierarchical structure of USB is systematically summarized,including system overview,physical interface,power supply characteristics,bus protocol,performance of error tolerance,system configuration,data flow modes,host computer ,hardware & software,etc.More details will be provided in the successive articles.
